Mise-en-Scene clothing influence

Our clothing for the main protagonist is important for us to present her as an ordinary person but with a creepy and uncomfortable edge. Our influence for the main protagonist clothing is from a TV drama called American Horror Story, as this show protrays characters very similar to our lead character in the fact that they are creepy and unstable. In the show their is a particular character which dresses in a way to resembles innocence but also with and edgy and dark side.
As you can see below the character wears dark elaborate clothes, which could reflect her elaborate personality. The use of hats is something that is big in the TV show aswell, and we will take this into consideration for when we plan the leads outfits. Even though the character shows innocence in these photos in the true story line she is shown to be unpredictable and slightly mental, which is why the outfits are perfect style models in our own lead as she also needs to be represented this way.
