Marina and the Diamonds: Digipak Analysis

This digipak analysis of marina in the diamonds is based on marina herself and not her and the band. For our digipak we want to include the main singer and the band together, to show that the music is all by the band and that they each have a role to play within the band. The photos on each side of the digipak are close ups of Marina's face, these photos can be portrayed as sexual and reveal marina as she looks bare with no clothes on, For our digipak, we want to have long shots or medium shots of the band, every side of the digipak will not be filled with the band as we will have our band logo taking up one side. The colour scheme of this just seems to be white, as this is the colour of all the writing on the digipak, for ours we will stick with our colour scheme of black, white and red as this represents our bands logo. The songs on the album are on the back side of the digi pak, which is a convention we will stick with, the songs arent in a straight line like they would usually be on a digipak but bend to the right covering the whole back side, making it look fuller and more exciting, this is something we will consider for our own digipak, but we will make it different to this one, but make it exciting for our fans.
